Our story
Greater Support grew out of lived experience.
We know what it’s like to stand beside someone you love and face systems that are difficult to navigate. To feel unheard, or to find barriers where you hoped to find help. Those experiences shaped our belief that compassion, understanding and respect should guide the way organisations work.
That belief became the starting point for Greater Support. We began by listening, learning and building relationships, with a determination to make a meaningful contribution.
Our ambition reaches beyond the services we provide today. We want to keep learning, build meaningful partnerships and explore new ways to contribute to a more compassionate and inclusive society.
Our name reflects what we aim to offer not just more support, but greater in every sense, led by our values.
As Greater Support develops, our lived experience remains part of our foundation. It reminds us why we began and keeps us connected to the people and communities at the heart of our purpose.
