What does support look like for you?
Living as independently as possible means you get to choose what support you need to live in your own home, where you live, and who you live with.
If you are considering moving into one of our homes, you will find a home that is well-fitted with your lifestyle in mind. Each home is modern, spacious, and carefully selected to cater to you and your needs.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) can be delivered 24 hours a day and often includes overnight support. Our homes provide a space for you to receive this care from your support worker.
NDIS information.
SIL is part of the home and living support options with the NDIS. It's one of your options if you need help at home. Each type of home and living support option will suit different people. It all depends on your needs and preferences.
When you first get in touch with us, we'll organise a meeting to plan a roster of care. In the meeting, you will decide the number of hours and support workers you will have each day.
After the meeting, we will submit the roster of care to NDIA to assess the plan. Once it's been accepted and approved, we'll deliver your support.
How to access SIL.
You can receive funding for SIL support through the Core Support budget under the 'Assistance and Daily Life' section. Your initial planning meeting for an NDIS plan is a great opportunity to talk about what support you need at home. At the meeting, you can talk about your options with your planner. They will then assess whether SIL is suitable, reasonable, and necessary for you.

The 24/7 support includes shifts during the day and sleepovers or active overnight shifts. Care workers are managed by a supervisor and overseen by an operation/service delivery manager.
Our staff vary in age, gender and nationality. We promote cultural diversity amongst our team to ensure we always provide the best support for our clients from all backgrounds.
Our shared homes range in size from two to five bedrooms.
We work diligently to ensure you are well-matched with a new home that meets your individual needs. We also make sure your fellow house members are close to your age and share some of your interests.
